Note: The EXTENDIT System has three main parts, the 200 Power Adapter Module, the 201 Power Outlet Module, and the Power Strip. Planning your installation is easy. You will need one Power Adapter Module, one Power Outlet Module and one Power Strip. If you need more than one additional outlet, you will need more Power Outlet Modules and some additional Power Strips to connect each module. For optimum installation flexibility, the 200 Power Adapter and the 201 Power Outlet each have four terminals where a Power Strips can be attached.
Requirements for a Typical Installation: One 200 Power Adapter (the one with the outlet prongs), one or more 201 Power Outlets and one or more Power Strips. For custom installations where the Power Strip length is to be less than the standard 4, 6 or 8 foot lengths, Power Strips and Power Strip covers must be 1-inch longer than the distance between each module to allow for the amount inserted into each module (1/2“ each). Power Strips and covers can be easily cut to any size with a hacksaw. You will also need a tape measure, and screwdriver (hacksaw is necessary if you plan to cut the PowerStrip to a custom size).

No-wire EXTENDIT System is easy to install

EXTENDIT 200 Power Adapter Module
b) To insure secure mounting of the 201 Module- check to insure if the mark you made on the wall in step 3.A above is on a hollow wall or other surface requiring a wall anchor- or is located over a wooden stud.
c) Mounting Options
Option1: If attaching to a wooden stud
1. At your marked spot (step 3.A) drill a pilot hole approximately 1 1/4 inches deep into the wall.

a) Select a standard grounded 115 VAC power outlet and verify that it is working properly by plugging in a reliable lamp or circuit tester.
b) Shut off the power to the outlet at the fuse panel or circuit breaker panel.
c) Verify that the power is off by using the reliable lamp or circuit tester used in step a.
d) Remove the outlet cover screw and then the outlet cover plate.
e) Momentarily plug the Candeltronics 200 module into the outlet to determine the product's final orientation.
f) Remove the 200 module from the outlet and then remove the outer Power Strip access plates and the inner terminal caps from the module as needed to allow you to route the Power Strip in your planned direction. (See photo and drawing.)
h) Re-insert the 200 Adapter Module into your outlet, and install the provided 2” long machine screw (shown below) to securely attach module to outlet.
Note: The Candeltronics EXTENDIT System is designed to work only with standard three prong grounded outlets, and is not for use on ground fault-interrupter or other receptacles having indicator lights or re-set buttons. Outlets not having the third hole for grounds plugs, and those outlets having decorator plates (two screws) need to be changed by qualified personnel prior to use of the Candeltronics System. CAUTION: To avoid the risk of fire or electrical shock do not attempt to reform or remove the existing protruding electrical contacts in an attempt to use this product in a non-conforming house outlet.
Note: The Candeltronics power strip is keyed to automatically maintain the alignment and polarity of the hot, neutral and ground connections.
a) Insert the correct end of your Power Strip into the 200 Power Adapter Module. (Hacksaw may be used to adjust power strip length if required. Always cut power strip and power strip cover to same lengths).
b) After verifying that the Power Strip is to the desired length and level, mark the location of the Power Strip holes.
c) Use appropriate anchors for type of wall encountered. UL requires that an anchor (NOT SUPPLIED) be used through each hole in the power strip (every eight inches). Small plastic expansion anchors may be suitable for this application.

a) Using the above supplied template, measure 1-1/4 inches from the end of each Power Strip and place a mark to locate the center of your mounting hole.
Note: Due to the varying wall surfaces encountered in typical installations we have provided the following hardware:
- For installations anchoring to a wooden stud behind drywall we have included a 2-1/2 inch long #6 wood screw (Figure A).
- For installations on 3/8 and or 1/2-inch drywall we have included a hollow wall anchor (Figure B). If your hollow wall installation requires a longer or shorter hollow wall anchors please obtain one from your local hardware store.

Option 2: If attaching to other walls requiring a wall anchor
1. Drill a hole in your wall as required to insert the provided hollow wall fastener. If using another brand of anchor use their instructions as required.
2. After inserting the included hollow wall anchor (Figure B), tighten it to fully seat it’s locking legs. Then fully remove the fastener’s screw (Figure C).
e) Use screw D to secure module to the wall. Slide your 201Power Outlet onto the Power Strip and secure with your selected screw.
f) Install Power Strip Cover on the Power Strip. This will cover up the mountingperly END OF PROCEDURE screws.
g) When all the Power Strips and 201 Power Outlets have been installed, restore power to the outlet. Use your light or circuit tester to verify that the 200 Power Adapter and each of the 201 Power Outlet(s) work properly.
